The law firm of McCorry and Gannon, PC is pleased to announce that it has changed its name to Gannon Bailey Donovan & Votolato, PC. The new name reflects the much-deserved retirement of Senior Partner Robert E. McCorry and the naming of John I. Donovan, Joel J. Votolato and Lauren E. Bailey as partners in the firm. John “Jack” Gannon retains his role as Managing Partner.
The law office of McCorry and Gannon, PC., was originally founded by Amos L. Lachapelle in 1928. Attorney Eugene T. Lachapelle joined his brother in 1932 as Lachapelle and Lachapelle. In 1979, Attorney Robert McCorry was made a partner in the firm, then known as Lachapelle and McCorry. Attorney John “Jack” Gannon was made a partner in the late 1980’s, but it was not until 1992 that the firm again changed its name to McCorry and Gannon, following the death of Eugene Lachapelle.
Gannon Bailey Donovan & Votolato, PC shall continue the nearly ninety-year tradition of providing the businesses and residents of Rhode Island and Massachusetts with the highest quality legal counsel.
